It's been a long time.
"Nonaka" in Shirokane.
This is a popular izakaya restaurant among the staff of my previous workplace, and I have been going there since my first year in Fukuoka.
I hadn't been able to go for 4 or 5 years due to the coronavirus and moving, so I was able to visit again for the first time in a long time.
They are such a warm couple that it's hard to believe they are someone else's mother and father.
I was so happy that you still remembered me even though it's been so long.
Ever since I started coming here, the "Grilled Rice Eggplant Miso Dengaku Cheese" has been a must-try.
The taste remains the same no matter how long it takes. I also ordered a lot of other dishes that brought back memories.
For me, this is the origin and pinnacle of Fukuoka izakayas.
I've brought a keep bottle so I'll definitely be able to go again soon.
If you like small, cozy izakayas, this is a must-visit.
