Starting with the Fall/Winter 2016 collection, he officially launched his own brand, "Nobuyuki Matsui."
He does everything from patterns to sewing and fabric processing himself, and presents his designs as made-to-order clothing and sometimes as artwork.
For Spring/Summer 2018, the brand launched its first ready-to-wear collection.
