A knitted Cuban shirt.
As the name suggests, Cuban shirts are clothes from the home country of Cuba.
This traditional clothing is also recognized as formal attire, such as for ceremonial occasions and staff uniforms.

Its origin is unknown, but there are various theories including that it was a work shirt worn by sugarcane farmers.

The base fabric is tightly knitted with 14G Milano rib to create a firm texture.

The embroidery on the chest, one of the characteristics of the Cuban shirt, is expressed in openwork.
Normally, it would be more efficient to knit the Milano rib and openwork stitches separately and then join them, but I wanted to minimize the seam allowance as much as possible, so I carefully switched them and knitted them in succession.
The collar is made with extra thread and is knitted firmly with all needles so that it does not lose to the body.
This item is packed with knitting techniques, such as matching the patterns on the body and pockets.
