Good evening.
I was so busy at the beginning of the year that I wasn't able to write anything, so this is my first blog in a while.
From the first sale until Sunday when we started serving free drinks, we had a wonderful time toasting every day.
I am truly grateful.
Going back a little further, I spent the New Year holidays in my hometown of Okinawa for the first time in over a decade.
Eating and drinking delicious food every day. No matter where you are, this is what the New Year holidays are like.
However, this trip back home allowed me to discover new Okinawan gourmet foods, so I'd like to introduce two of them.
Let's start here.
"Yuunami" is an Okinawa soba restaurant located in Matsukawa, Naha city.
When you ask locals which Okinawa soba restaurant is the best right now, you always hear Yunami.
A long-awaited first visit.
I ordered mixed soba noodles topped with pork belly and pork ribs.
Whole wheat noodles in a light soup with a strong dashi flavor.
It's even more delicious than I had heard!
The whole wheat noodles are similar to ramen noodles and do not have the dry texture that is typical of Okinawa soba, so I would definitely recommend this to anyone who doesn't like Okinawa soba noodles.
The mugwort (a type of mugwort) added midway through was also great.

Kozakura is located on a side street just off Kokusai Street in Naha City.
This is a small izakaya restaurant that I had seen on my friends' stories many times and was interested in.
The food here was simply amazing.
I had somen chanpuru, soki, sea grapes, and island rakkyo, and all of them were so delicious I've never eaten anything like them before.
In particular, I would definitely recommend trying the somen chanpuru and soki, which in my opinion are the best in the world, when you visit here.
There are only counter seats on the first floor, but the cozy atmosphere and friendly staff make it an extremely comfortable place.
Customers who are planning to travel to Okinawa often ask me for recommendations for restaurants, and I think the two places I visited this time are essentials to introduce.
