MASU

MASU's first eyewear line was created in collaboration with the Japanese eyewear brand, BLANC.
The frames are based on an archive piece from France from the 1960s that designer Goto loves, and each pair is carefully assembled by hand by artisans in Sabae, a global eyewear production center.
The classic-shaped temples are adorned with the brand's iconic angel logo made of metal studs, and are available in three colors: a deep black, and a transparent marbled brown and gray.
Each comes with a matching color lens.
The tip of the left temple features BLANC's signature detail in all ivory.
A timeless piece that will add color to your everyday life, regardless of age, gender, or style.
The design combines a classic look with the brand's playful spirit, bringing a new freedom to the wearer's vision.
A unique key visual was created by meticulously digitally collaging eyewear onto a work of art whose copyright protection period has expired.
It is meant to be something that will be loved by people over time, like a carefully preserved work of art.

The name is derived from the polite form "masu," and reflects our determination to reevaluate even familiar linguistic expressions and to remain a brand that, as the name suggests, adheres to a polite attitude.
The ideas, philosophy, historical background, and exciting ideas of vintage wear that have fascinated him since his childhood are elements that have had a major influence on his collection.
We sincerely respect the symbols of clothing shapes and materials created by the accumulation of history, and aim to create "clothes that can become vintage for someone" that will be loved across the ages.
