The black dye is made using Kyoto's groundwater, pumped up from 70 meters underground, and dye liquid that has been handed down through the family since the Taisho era.
The black dyed using a technique designated by the government as a traditional industry gives it a deeper black color, and the more you wear it, the more tasteful the texture becomes.
