I had a nightmare last night on my 6th day of sobriety. People really do have nightmares and jump up and say, ``Ah!!!''

And yesterday was a day off.

I went for a run in the morning and was really hungry by lunch.

The second Hakata branch of Kikutsuru Soba, which is probably the only place in Fukuoka that serves Okinawa soba that is close to the authentic one, opened yesterday, so I went there without hesitation.

5 minutes walk from Hakata Station. It's a perfect location, just 7 minutes by bike from my house.
I don't know if it was originally a cafe or an Italian restaurant, but the atmosphere inside is not like an Okinawa soba restaurant in a good way.

First, I ordered pork and egg rice balls. There were various flavors of creative pork and egg rice balls, but I chose mentaiko mayonnaise and cheese.
I haven't tried the other flavors yet, but ``Menta Mayo'' is probably the winner. A new fusion food of Okinawa and Fukuoka.

And the main dish is Kikutsuru soba. A bowl of pork belly and soki.
I'm a big fan, and in Fukuoka a lot of the food is well-seasoned, so I prefer something lighter here. These straight noodles are so smooth and easy to slurp that you can eat them in an instant, and you can also get extra noodles for 150 yen.

Even in Okinawa, I don't really have Kaedama, so I tried it out of curiosity, and it turned into noodles with a firm texture and was really delicious! !

There are many substitutes for Okinawa soba.

Authentic Okinawan soba that you can enjoy in Hakata. Please come and have fun with it.
